What is copper pipe?


Copper tube is also called purple copper tube. A type of non-ferrous metal pipe, it is a pressed and drawn seamless pipe. Copper pipes have the characteristics of good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. They are the main material for conductive accessories and heat dissipation accessories of electronic products, and have become the first choice for modern contractors to install water pipes, heating and cooling pipes in all residential commercial buildings. Copper pipes have strong corrosion resistance, are not easily oxidized, are not prone to chemical reactions with some liquid substances, and are easy to bend.

Characteristics of copper pipes
The pressure resistance of copper pipes is several times or even dozens of times that of plastic pipes and aluminum-plastic pipes. It can withstand the highest water pressure in today’s buildings. In a hot water environment, as the service life increases, the pressure-bearing capacity of plastic pipes decreases significantly, while the mechanical properties of copper pipes remain unchanged in all thermal temperature ranges, so their pressure-resistant capabilities will not decrease or Aging will occur.

The linear expansion coefficient of copper pipes is very small, 1/10 of that of plastic pipes, and will not cause stress fatigue cracking due to excessive thermal expansion and contraction.

Copper pipes have greater strength, and while ensuring the effective inner diameter, the outer diameter is smaller, making them more suitable for concealed burial.

Factors affecting the price of copper pipes
